Kyowa Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter ‘KCI’) was recently informed of an increasing number of inquiries from customers about products that are not manufactured or marketed by KCI.

In particular, the French website SpecialChem introduced products which were not made by KCI and were referred to under the trademark “KYOWA CHEMICAL INDUSTRY”. Upon the request from KCI’s holding company, SETOLAS Holdings Inc., SpecialChem deleted the incorrect information.

SETOLA Holdings Group places importance on the proper protection of its intellectual property rights, and will continue monitoring the proper use of its trademarks.
